These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Merolog. By creating an account, you
agree to them.

1. The service

Merolog is a structured progress-journaling platform: you keep dated Logs and Entries as
evidence of your own change over time. There is no scoring, ranking, or comparison between
accounts, and there never will be — that boundary is permanent, not a placeholder.

2. Eligibility

You must meet Merolog’s minimum age (16 by default, enforced at signup) to create an
account. If we determine an account doesn’t meet this requirement, we may suspend or remove
it.

3. Your account

You’re responsible for the security of your own account and password, and for everything
that happens under it. Let us know immediately at hello@merolog.com
if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Your content

You own everything you post to Merolog. By posting it, you grant Merolog the license
needed to store and display it back to you, and — only for content you set to
unlisted or public — to display it to the audience your own
visibility choice allows. We never change a Log’s visibility on your behalf.

You agree not to post content that’s illegal, infringes someone else’s rights, harasses or
threatens another person, or is spam. Public content may be reported by other users and
reviewed by our moderation team; we may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these
Terms.

5. Plans and pricing

Merolog offers Free, Basic, and Premium tiers with different limits on how many Logs you can
create and how many can be public at once. There is currently no automated payment system —
upgrading a plan is a manual request you send us from your Account page, which we review and
apply by hand. We don’t store any payment information because none is currently collected.

6. Advertising

Merolog is supported in part by advertising served through Google AdSense on public,
logged-out-visible pages (never on your private dashboard, account, or composer views). Ads
are clearly labeled and visually separated from Merolog’s own content. See our
Privacy Policy for how advertising cookies are used and how to
opt out of personalized ads.

7. Termination

You may stop using Merolog at any time; email hello@merolog.com
to request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms
or applicable law.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Merolog is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent
permitted by law, Merolog is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
arising from your use of the service.

9. Changes to these Terms

We’ll update the date above whenever these Terms change. Continuing to use Merolog after a
change means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, without regard to its conflict-of-law
principles.
