Merolog covers Nepal as it happens — festivals, sports, travel, business, culture, and the
news in between. We’re looking for contributors who live it, cover it locally, or know a corner
of it better than we do.
What makes a Merolog article different
Every article on Merolog is a Log: an ordered sequence of dated entries, not a
single static post. Once you publish an entry, it can never be edited — corrections, follow-ups,
and new developments get added as new dated entries appended to the same article instead. Readers
see the full history of how a story developed, not just its latest version. If you’re covering
something that unfolds over time — a festival across its several days, a tournament, a policy
story, a season — this format is built for exactly that.

How it works
- Register an account and confirm your email.
- Submit an Article from your dashboard — give it a title, a category, and
write your first entry. It starts private, visible only to you. - Request to publish. When you’re ready, request public visibility. Our
editorial team reviews it before it goes live — we’re checking for accuracy, sourcing, and fit,
not gatekeeping opinions. - Keep it updated. Once live, add new dated entries any time the story moves
forward. Your original entry stays exactly as you wrote it.
Guidelines
- Write what you can stand behind. If a detail is unverified, say so plainly rather than
guessing. - First entries should be substantial — aim for real, useful depth rather than a short
announcement. - Only use images you have the right to publish — your own photos, or clearly licensed
free-to-use images with the source credited in the caption. - No competitive or comparative mechanics of any kind (rankings, “who did it better,” rated
scores against another person’s work) — Merolog is a permanently supportive space, by design.
Contributor tiers
A free account covers a generously usable starting point. Higher tiers unlock more articles,
more that can be public at once, and priority editorial review — see your account page for
current limits, or request an upgrade there once you’re contributing regularly.
